Teambase.xml is designed for: Teambase users who wish to publish their
content to the web, share their digital assets with other publications
and syndication partners, and otherwise transform and distribute their
assets in media-neutral formats.

For Example: A publication group using
Teambase.Publish
creates business stories for its print and on-line
editions. A single story, edited once, can be
simultaneously printed and transformed, via
Teambase.xml, into HTML. The web site – or the
site’s web-publishing database — is updated
automatically on a schedule through an FTP connection.
A newspaper using
Teambase.Publish and
Teambase.pumps is obligated to share its major
stories with a regional news service. An editor
simply marks each story to be shared, and at a scheduled
time, the stories are transformed into plain text and
transmitted to the news service with all relevant
publication data included.
A business unit using
Teambase.Online
to gather employee documents wishes to populate another
system at its corporate headquarters. Assets to be
shared are marked, and updates are transmitted to the
corporate office automatically. |
