Teambase Photo is designed for:
Groups of Teambase users who specialize in image editing, who need to efficiently track and modify images in real-time, while coordinating access to individual files. Specialized tools capture and map IPTC metadata, and allow for quick and easy metadata changes.
For Example: A publication has a staff of photographers, some of whom are also responsible for making images production-ready. With Teambase Photo, batches of photos are drag-and-drop imported into Teambase, and all existing IPTC metadata is captured and preserved. Captions are easily added in Teambase, shared among like images, and then modified individually. With the Adobe Photoshop plug-in, file integrity is preserved as no image can be changed simultaneously on two. File-format conversions for specific outputs are accomplished without creating duplicate files; and when desired, the original image as taken by the photographer is what is preserved – with all publication metadata in the publication’s archives.
A financial services company shares photographs in its newsprint and glossy magazine editions. For its publications, the company uses Adobe Photoshop to optimize the reproduction for different output methods -- applying color corrections, transfer functions and other Photoshop Actions. Together with Teambase pumps, the company uses Teambase Photo to automate the creation of the image renditions, so that for each image, publication-appropriate versions are always created and easily available.
